Issue
Toolbox for Windows either doesn't run the scan at all or runs the scan sometime after it was supposed to run.
Problem
A known bug is affecting the launch of the scheduled scan for Toolbox for Windows. Toolbox uses an internal timer as part of the method for determining when the scheduled scan should run. This timer is being affected by the system's sleep/hibernate state resulting in a delayed run of the scheduled scan.
Resolution
There are only two workarounds currently for this issue.
- Adjust system settings to disable sleep/hibernate.
- Manually run diagnostics after waking the system from sleep.
We are currently working to address this bug in a future update to Toolbox.
