Service Center user interface is too small.

Description

When launching PC-Doctor Service Center Bootable Diagnostics, the user interface is too small to interact with.

Impact

It has been observed that on some systems, particularly laptops with high resolution and high DPI displays, that when the Service Center UI loads, the UI and text are very small and can be unreadable. This is a result of the high DPI and resolution of the display.

Resolution

We have included an application with Service Center Bootable Diagnostics for adjusting display resolution. This application is called Arandr and can be accessed in the following two ways:
  1. Right click on the desktop and select the "Display", then "Display Configuration".
  2. Alternatively you can use the keyboard shortcut "ALT+A".
This will bring up a window that shows your your display with label such as "eDP-1". You can then right click on the display, highlight "Resolution" and select a lower resolution from the drop down menu. Now select the green check mark to apply the changes. Lowering the resolution should force the UI to be a larger size.

If this does not resolve the issue, please reach out to our support team.
