PC-Doctor Updates Service Center® 16 with support for the latest hardware platforms
PC-Doctor, Inc., the global leader in system health, released an update to the latest version of its popular diagnostic toolkit–Service Center 16.
RENO, Nevada (December 21, 2023) – PC-Doctor, Inc., the global leader in PC, Android, Chrome OS, and Intel-based Mac system health technologies, today released an updated version of its popular diagnostic toolkit: Service Center 16.
Service Center is powered by the same technology used by the world’s largest original equipment manufacturers for over 30 years—now updated to provide support for the latest versions of Windows 11 and ChromeOS, and to refresh the drivers included in Service Center Bootable Diagnostics.
“Technicians continue to rely on Service Center for comprehensive component testing on a variety of platforms within multiple testing environments” said Eric Goldman, Director of Programs, Products, and Support. “Continuing our commitment to refresh Bootable Diagnostics twice per year, we ensure the latest hardware continues to run. This updated version of Service Center 16 is free for all Service Center 16 users.”
The PC-Doctor Service Center 16 refresh includes these additional features and improvements:
- Improved Windows 11 TLS support when Service Center connects to Service Center Remote
- Incorporating the UI framework overhaul into the ChromeOS test environment
- Improved display driver support for Intel Meteor Lake, including new DRM accelerated driver for Intel VPU IP 2.7 integrated into Intel Meteor Lake, Intel DisplayPort Multi-Stream Transport Display Stream Compression, DisplayPort Bandwidth Allocation Mode for Thunderbolt drivers, and support for older Genius branded graphics tablets
- New drivers for Qualcomm Wi-Fi 7 devices, Intel Lunar Lake HD audio, and AMD Soundwire
- Added drivers for tablet mode switch on Yoga and Surface Pro 9, sensor monitoring support for 100+ more ASUS desktop motherboards, enhanced MSI laptop support with the new MSI Embedded Controller driver
- Resolved a Windows BSOD on newer BIOS with an ACPI SDEV table configured a particular way
Service Center 16 kits ordered on or after December 6, 2023 will automatically receive this updated version. Existing Service Center 16 users can download this free update by visiting https://www.pcdservicecenter.com/downloads.
